Location
For this year's venue, we have chosen the impressive congress centre in the middle of Karlsruhe. The place is a combination between traditional and modern architecture: white marble, oak, Birdseye maple and the tasteful design determine the spatial experience.
The plenum provides a 1.400 qm² area with space for 1.800 visitors. Furthermore the convenient location enables different opportunities to pass by car, train or plane. Enough parking places are available at the underground garage.

Due to its location outside the city, the Karlsruhe Trade Fair and Exhibition Center and the dm-arena can be reached stress-free by car.
From the Highway A5/A8:
- Coming from A8 Stuttgart, follow A5 in the direction to „Frankfurt"
- Leave A5 at exit Nr. 45 "Karlsruhe-Mitte" and fellow the way to "Karlsruhe"
- Leave B10 at exit Nr.2 in the direction of "Stadtmitte/Zentrum"
- Follow the signs in the direction of "Kongresszentrum"
Arriving by train
Karlsruhe is an important connecting station of the Deutsche Bahn AG and lies directly on the ICE route Hamburg – Frankfurt – Basel . The West-East axis Karlsruhe – Stuttgart – München starts here.
At the central station - and next?
The Karlsruhe central station is located in the southern center of town opposite the zoo and the city garden. When leaving the station through the main exit, you will find a cab stop and tram stops on the square in front of the station. The tourism information is on the opposite side.
By public transportation
Karlsruhe features an exceptional public transit system. Almost all destinations in the city and its surroundings can be reached by tram and streetcar in two to ten minute intervals. Often, by the way, a ticket to an event will count as a free tram ticket for getting there and back!

- Main station: Lines S1, S4, S11, 2
- City center: Lines S1, S4, S11, 2, 5
- Durlacher Tor: Lines S4, 2
By plane
Close to five international airports, Karlsruhe is a convenient plane travel destination. The Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden in Rheinmünster, for instance, can be reached in only 25 minutes.
The international Airport Frankfurt/Main is served by almost every airline and can be reached by ICE train directly from the Karlsruhe main station within 60 minutes.
