WJAX 2009
The W-JAX is the conference for holistic technical Know-how in the enterprise and web environment. Here Europe’s leading experts come together to distribute their knowledge and experience to the attendees. Due to their unique mix of topics the W-JAX gives key impulses to the java Enterprise Community, every year again.
A large number of renowned experts provide the attendees of the conference with their practically proven knowledge and will be available to answer questions and to allow further dialogues. Technical Know-how on a top level for developers, excellent experienced knowledge for software architects and project managers and not at least high class networking possibilities - this is what W-JAX fans have been appreciating for years.
The perfect organization, the compact expert competence as well as the comfortable ambiance make the W-JAX a unique experience. The SOACON, which focuses on the technical and business aspects of the service orientated architecture, forms a strong team together with W-JAX and offers a broad orientation in a dynamic technology environment.
Having decided to attend the W-Jax still leaves the option to participate in the Sessions of the SOACON, which takes place at the same time. The main conference offers the attendees more than 100 Sessions covering all relevant topics. For a transparent overview the Sessions are structured in different tracks and last 60 minutes each. The conferences take place parallel in the same building.

Select from more than 100 Sessions of the main conference (Tuesday, November 10th till Thursday, November 12th) your individual conference program! You will also have access to the Sessions of the accompanying SOACON. The Sessions are structured in clear tracks and take 60 minutes each.

Power Workshops
In full-day power workshops on Monday, November 9th and on Friday, November 13th 09 you can enrich your know-how concerning all relevant technologies. For a whole day experienced speakers will share their practical knowledge with you!
Keynotes
At the W-JAX known masterminds of the software industry present the most influential trends and visions for the future of the software development and –architecture.
Special Days
Several Special Days concentrate on key topics in a broad sense. Moderated by an expert of the specific topic, they offer encyclopedical knowledge due to the numerous presentations. Special Days can optionally be booked separately or can be attended fully or selectively in the course of the W-JAX-Main Conference.
Expo
In the course of the accompanying exhibition of the W-JAX the attendees have the opportunity to acquire information about the numerous enterprises, their products and solutions.
Ballroom
The Ballroom is the Networking-Event of the W-JAX! It gives the opportunity to get in touch with speakers and attendees of the conference in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The rules are rather simple: Several tables have been prepared according to a special topic (e.g. “Enterprise JavaBeans“, “Performance“ or “OSGi“). Every table is hosted by at least one expert, who is ready for any kind of question or discussion. All attendees are welcome to join a discussion of their choice – and may leave the table in order to partake in another discussion as they desire.
Lunch, Coffee breaks
During the breaks between the sessions of the main conference, respectively the Power- Workshop-Days, we offer beverages and catering. In addition attendees will be served lunch during the booked conference days.
Computer, Internet-Access
We will install computers in the exhibition room for you, of course with free internet access. Attendees who bring their own notebook can also go online within the entire building via W-LAN.
Venue of the W-JAX 2009 is the ArabellaSheraton Grand Hotel, Munich. The comfortable business hotel combines modern technique, a warm and cozy atmosphere with a personal and individual service. It is easily accessible with all means of transportation, if by car, by train or by plane.
Besides the modern and spacious session rooms, the standards include the following facilities: comfortable rooms, all incl. FAX/E-Mail/ISDN/Modem and wireless telephone, several restaurants, Bar, Café and Grapperia, Wellness area and gym, pools and saunas, adequate parking as well as railway stations are available.
