Sessions in this track are for example PHP5 migration strategies or usage of new extensions/features like namespaces, SPL, ext/soap and the like.
Frameworks
OpenSource and commercial frameworks try to make your life as a PHP developer easier. Sessions in this track focus on presenting the various frameworks and how to extend them as well as discussing the pros and cons of the popular OpenSource frameworks.
Architecture/QA
Coding style, code metrics, UnitTesting, performance tests, Design Patterns, class hierarchies: sessions in this track present the toolset you need for shaping the architecture of your application and providing a good QA in the development process.
Security
Companies use the web for business critical applications. Security is a must have for them. This track focuses on the risks that your application can face and how to avoid security problems.
Business/Enterprise
PHP has been used for business critical applications for years. But how do you manage your web applications in an Enterprise context? Agile development, Enterprise features and involvement of management are the focus of this track. Furthermore we will discuss how companies can benefit in times of recession from the ease of use of PHP and its flexibility.
Best Practices
Get a blueprint for your application. Successful projects tell you which problems they faced and how they solved them.
Interoperability
How can PHP connect to SAP? Synchronize with AD/LDAP? Get batch reports from your host system? Sessions in this track focus on showing how you can leverage PHP’s full potential when connecting to different IT architectures.
Database
From MySQL5 to SQLite, DB2 and Oracle: expect sessions about different database flavours and how to improve the performance of your web application/database.
RIA (Rich Internet Application)
The world has changed. Web applications don’t follow any longer the traditional request-response paradigm. AJAX, Flash/Flex and integration into desktop applications create shiny web applications. Sessions in this track show you how to use different JS/RIA frameworks and integrate PHP with it.

Dear speakers and friends of IPC 2010,
The International PHP Conference 2009 is close at hand and we are very happy to welcome the PHP community to our traditional event. Right now, we are preparing for the next round already! From May 31st. to June 2nd. 2010 the next Spring Edition will open it‘s gates. All speakers, PHP professionals, web developers and rockstars are welcome to add their proposal to our upcoming conference.
Now that PHP has proven it‘s strengths in being an efficient, maintainable and highly scalable language which is driving a majority of todays web applications, the Spring Edition of International PHP Conference will once again provide developers, web designers and IT professionals with detailed know how on how to make use of the leading web technology for business critical applications.
