Bernd Trops Talend
Bernd Trops ist Director Professional Services bei der Talend GmbH. In dieser Funktion ist er für die Kundenprojektbetreuung und Trainings verantwortlich. Als System Engineer war er in verschiedenen Projekten für GemStone, Brokat und WebGain tätig und verfügt daher über umfangreiche Erfahrungen im Bereich J2EE. Von 2003 bis 2007 war Bernd Trops als SOA-Architekt bei Oracle beschäftigt. Sein Studium der Informatik absolvierte er an der Fachhochschule Darmstadt. Nach dem Studium war er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Bereich Betriebsinformatik und OO-Datenbanken an der FH Darmstadt tätig.

Clemens works for Boehringer-Ingelheim's Global Business Services (GBS) as Chief Architect, helping to establish GBS' next gen' business architecture based on service orientation. Before joining BI he worked at the Oracle Headquarters in the United States as platform architect, working with the Fusion Applications development as advisor and supported customers all around the world on their journey towards implementing enterprise-wide SOA. During his platform engineering years, Clemens was responsible for cross product integration, strategic standards as well as a member to the Oracle's SOA platform steering committee, and served on the OASIS TC for Service Component Architecture (SCA). In 2006 Clemens co-founded the "Masons-of-SOA", an inter-company network founded by architects of Oracle Germany, Opitz, SOPEra (Eclipse Project Swordfish founders) and EDS, with the mission of spreading knowledge, fostering discussion and supporting SOA programs across companies and borders. After 14 articles on advanced SOA topics in the german Java Magazin, a three patterns in Thomas Erl's SOA Design Patterns catalogue, they are currently working on "Next Generation SOA" - slated to release as part of the Service Oriented Computing Series of Prentice Hall for late 2010. Clemens is also a co-author of the SOA Manifesto.

Gunnar is a software engineer who loves server and application architectures especially those involving Equinox/OSGi. In his primary role at AGETO he is thrilled to work on open source software, emerging platforms and technologies, and to help companies understand Eclipse and OSGi and execute on their business objectives in an open source context. He has been a member of the Eclipse Community since its beginning and he is a prolific contributor with many years of experience on numerous Eclipse projects; Gunnar is also a member of the Technology PMC which he represents on the Eclipse Architecture Council.
