Eclipse Forum Europe is the conference for all experts using Eclipse as a strategic platform – either as a development environment, as runtime for Rich Clients, as a server framework, and also for vertical industry frameworks.

The 4th Eclipse Forum Europe in Mainz offers you again the best speakers and the most important companies within the Ecipse ecosytem. The conference program focuses on all aspects of the Eclipse platform. The key to the success of the platform is based on the ideas and the immeasurable commitment of all member of the Eclipse ecosytem – building a staple foundation for technological and for business innovation. Eclipse Forum Europe brings together all players – open source developers, users, business strategists offering a unique concept to enable know how transfer, the exchange of ideas and business innovation.

3 Conferences at One Go

The Eclipse Forum Europe 2009 will run parallel to two complementary conferences – JAX 09 & SOACON.
JAX 09 is the leading European conference on enterprise technologies and strategies and SOACON is the conference for all experts dealing with service orientation in companies.
By registering for one of the three conferences you will have the chance to visit the other conferences for free.

Main Conference

You can put together your own custom conference program, picking your favourites from more than 30 sessions on offer at Eclipse Forum Europe's Main Conference days (20 – 24 April). To make your task easier, we have grouped the sessions into various technology tracks. Each session will last 60 minutes.

Power Workshops

In our full-time Power Workshops participants have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge with regard to different topics. Competent speakers impart their knowledge on the basis of practical exercises and cover all aspects of the topic in question.

Catering

Drinks and snacks will be available during the breaks between the sessions. In addition, a delicious lunch buffet will be offered to the participants on all booked conference days.

Expo

The accompanying exhibition is the platform for all those who want to gather information about the innovative products and solutions presented at the expo. Furthermore, the exhibition provides a good opportunity to establish business relations with the numerous producers.

Provision of conference material

Three weeks after the end of the conference all participants of the Eclipse Forum Europe 2009 will be given the opportunity to download the entire conference material for their own use. The material includes the presentations, examples and naturally also the source code.

Computer and Internet access

Computer with free access to the Internet are available in the exhibition area. Participants may also use the free wireless LAN network on site for their own laptops.
